but, with the end of a summer term means a few more classes under the old education belt. this summer stint has been tough, as classes are longer, the work load is more intense, and J's work is quite a bit more busy. he's plugging along and i'm so proud of him.
keep him in your thoughts these next few weeks as he tackles and finishes the first of four calculus classes..... and a literature class :)
on to the sweet treat - a has a small obsession with all things sweet. his favorite pie is key lime pie. if you know me, you know that i'm not much of a pie fan. especially a warm fruit pie. yucck. i'm not a pie lover nor a pie maker. there, i fall short as a wife.
it also may seem that i have a slight addiction to cupcakes, since i have blogged about them here and here. i promise that i don't spend everyday thinking about, buying, eating sweets. ha! there have just been quite a few "special occasions" that call for sweet treats lately.
being the good little wifey that i am, i have been checking the GiGi's Cupcakes website daily to see the menu for that day. you see, they don't make the same thing everyday. afterall, a key lime pie cupcake is the next best thing to the real thing, right? i thought that would be a nice sweet treat surprise for J after class!
yesterday was the day! i spent my lunch break & lunch money purchasing J a tasty key lime pie cupcake treat because he's been working so hard and he deserves it. (and frankly, because i don't make pies and was trying to be nice....)
