hallelujah it's friday!!
this little road worrier has packed my bags again and i am heading west to meet up with some of my longest, nearest, and dearest friends. we all met (aside from bobbi and me growing up together) on bid day in 2001 at good ole arkansas state university in the alpha gam suite. i never dreamed that through that sorority, i would meet some of the most remarkable ladies and would call them life-long friends.
it is so hard to believe that it was 10 years ago this year.
my how time flies.
we've been through some crazy college nights, deaths, divorces, sickness, graduations, weddings, parties, and most recently - births! we now have 3 little ya-yas to join our group :)
though we do not see each other nearly as often as we would like,
the time that we do spend together is cherished.
whether it be a year or a month that has passed, we pick up right where we left off.
i know that they are always there if i need them, no matter what.
i hate that we all are so scattered and i am missing out on their everyday lives
and spending time with their girls.
i'm heading to jonesboro tonight to spend the evening with natalie and we're meeting up with karin in memphis tomorrow for brunch and a day at the salon. it will be a much needed and long overdue catch up session. i wish that bobbi could be with us :( she will be there in spirit!
i have been so blessed to have met some amazing ladies over the past few years.
last weekend in austin, i kept pinching myself because i am so grateful to be surrounded by such great friends. i am very fortunate that i am able to spend some quality time with each group of them this summer.

take advantage of any and every opportunity to see those that you love and care about whenever possible.
