this is tennessee

The time has come...... Big Orange football practices begin today!!!
You know, on the hottest day of the year thus far. That's ok - it builds character. ha!
(that's what my dad always told me when I had to do something that I didn't want to do. thanks, Dad.)

Really, the butterflies that start to flutter in my tummy are probably a bit overboard,
but I just can't help it.
Big Orange Country has been through a rough patch the past few years withus losing Phillip Fulmer, to gaining the young prick Lane Kiffen - good riddance and good luck USC -
and now we have landed on a nice Southern man,Derek Dooley. At least he has a fun name! Despite the craziness, I'm still super excited to be a Vol and cannot wait for this season.

I'm planning to take the hubs to a game this year because he hasn't ever been!
*gasp*
I have fallen down on my duties as a UT alumni.
Bless his heart.
He has no idea the amazingness that he has missed out on at good ole Rocky Top.
He has spent the summer in the largest state in the United States,
but is the home to only 500,000 people.
Neyland Stadium holds 1/5 of the entire population of Alaska on any given home game.
Wow.

So yea - bring it on!!!! I can't wait!
Go Vols.
