party crasher.

what a weekend. i feel like i've been off of work for a month - now, that's just dreaming. ha!

though i took off to little rock to check on my papa doc, i was able to squeeze in some quality time with my college girl friends and their precious little rug rats! i actually held the little ones and they liked me!! i haven't been around babies and "little people" very much, er, ever.
the thought of being responsible for someone else's life pretty much has given me hives and cold sweats. my friends are passing the mommy tests with flying colors.
their "little people" are PRECIOUS!!!
they loved me - they didn't even eat me or cry when i was playing with them.
victory!

bobbi and hannah had a play date set up that i was closely monitoring on facebook. everyone stalks - don't play like you don't. i was green like the kermit with envy that they were going to get together. THEN, they added natalie to the bunch. how could i NOT go? so - in mwood style, i snuck up on them and surprised them and totally crashed the play date.
i'm so glad that i did!!!

miss layni was showing off her new earbling.
she just got her ears pierced.

we were having "girl talk." one day, i'll tell her why she acts the way she does -
because it's JUST LIKE HER MOM! hehehee

i just love her to pieces.

this picture cracks me up! she was eyes tight!

little colin is just delicious. i could eat him up with a spoon!

we read books. he loved this one because it had a mirror and he could see himself.

i could have snuggled with this little nugget all day!

some things never change - and i'm glad they don't.
in college, we all probably ate more mexican should be allowed.
nat and hans have ordered the same thing since i met them in 2001.
hans - cheese quesadilla.
nat - two chicken soft tacos with meat and cheese only.

don't worry about what bobbi and i devoured. ha!

it's hard to believe how quickly time has gotten away.

but, i love these girls more than ever - even though we're miles and lives apart.

me too, colin.

i may or may not have teared up when we all had to say goodbye.
it's not goodbye, though. it's - see ya later, alligator!

thanks for being the shining point in my trip to arkansas
for less than exciting circumstances, girls!

and, thanks for letting me crash the party!

M,

I see you holdin those little babies, and I am going to say you will be a natural when you are ready!! Trust me, we are all scared sh*tless that we won't do a good job. If you can take care of the husband and your dog....you will handle a Baby like a pro.

I double dog dare ya!!
