lame kiffin sure did stir things up in vol country yesterday.

UT used the slogan "It's Time" last year in promoting the new youngster coach, kiffin.

though we didn't have the greatest season ever under kiffin this year, he had energy and excitement and everyone in big orange country had high hopes for next year's season.

nope.

kiffin just dipped out on us.

no warning shots fired (we like guns at UT). no secrets released. no heads up to the team.

just is peacing out to the sunny skies of california.

to that i say, seeeeee yaaaaaa!

good luck, lame kiffin. ha!

you thought it was tough to follow in fulmer's footsteps.

i'm sure pete carroll's are smaller.

my favorite part of this whole story is how the fans and students at UT responded.

with fire, chants, and an immediate painting of the rock.

i love the passion. oh, i wish i would have been on campus last night.

though the students and fans were obviously livid,

they still were chanting,

"IT'S GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!!!"

i couldn't agree more.
