my, oh, my.

october flew by and here we are on the heels of the holiday season.

where did october go?

for us - it went in long talks over campfires, in many steps taken in the smokies and taking in the beautiful fall colors, singing rocky top while cheering on the painfully struggling vols,

and learning to live together at the wood hood again.

october has been full of ups and downs; great news from some and sad sad news from others.

with the beginning of november here at our doorstep,

i want to spend the next month expressing the things for which i am thankful.

today, i am thankful for technology.

with my friends and family be scattered about, i am thankful for telephones and media outlets to share photos, videos, and converstations. even miles and miles apart - i still feel connected.
