today is a good day.

SCHOOOOOOOOOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!

and, it's friday?! i mean - it couldn't get much better than today. unless i hit the lottery - i guess i should go buy a ticket. yes - winning the lottery would help out on many other concerns floating around our house right now. but, until we win the lottery - i'll settle for today being a good day.

justin finished his finals up yesterday and i think we're good to go for another semester!

i'm so proud of him and his hard work.

after his final last night, he came home and just sat. we both feel like 1,000 lbs. of weight have been lifted off of our shoulders. you see - i stress out about his school just as much as he does, if not more. i want so badly for him to succeed and do well. he's not letting me down :) i'm sure my worry and stress is helping....... haa
as he sat there in his oversized lazy-boy relishing in the fact that 2 more classes have been checked of the list, he's got a few weeks to rest up and reload before the fall, and is one more step closer to graduation, and overjoyed that he doesn't have to look a single math problem for a few weeks, he said......
"i don't even know what to do with myself. i have no homework or anything looming overhead."

to which i responded.....
"the dishes in the dishwasher are clean and can be unloaded if you're that bored."

welcome home husband! ;)

i'll leave it up to your imagination as to where the clean dishes remain.

needless to say, i'm eagerly looking forward to the next few weeks of "freedom" to spend with my little husband without his mistress taking up all of his spare time.
GREAT JOB, J, ON ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEMESTER! KEEP A'TRUCKIN'!

to celebrate j's freedom - we're having a little cookout this evening and are going to catch up on some much needed R&R.
happy weekend!
