Guiness Book of World Records

The 5k saga continues; but, there were costumes involved this time! This weekend was the "I Run For The Party" Halloween 5k. I love races sponsored by this group because it's always so mcuh fun. This year - I've done all 3 they have put on. For this race, they set out to break a Guiness World Record for the most people dressed up in costumes for a Halloween 5k. I think that we succeeded and we should be in the book - yay!

This race was a blast. Kelly, Sheryl, Lisa and I got dressed up in our Halloween finest - i.e. Kroger costumes - and headed for the start line. Our cheerleaders enjoyed this race more than we did, I think. Justin, Jason, Meggan and Ben all sat on the porch at Tin Roof to watch the race go right by them while having a beverage and snacking. Thanks, guys.

I was a spider-something.

Spider-Something and Bat Girl. We so ran in fishnets and tennis shoes. Hot.

My sexy little devil.

The funniest ghost I have ever seen.

Meggan came out in full support - she was a great photographer/beverage drinker :)

Bless his heart - he's been at all of my races. Thanks, J! He didn't mind this time because he could hang out at Tin Roof and watch us go by! haha

His usual warm-up before the race.

They caught Kelly making her way by Tin Roof.

Post -Race photos! Ben came to hang out!

We ran for the party!

Sheryl and her biggest fan, Jason relaxing after the race.

My bestie :D

Needless to say - we had a blast! Look for us in the Guiness Book!
